1. Joe Tom (Thomas) REEVES^1,2,3 was born on 27 Aug 1934 in Walnut Grove, Leake, MS. He served in the military between 3 Jun 1955 and Dec 1956 in Navy Flight Training. Designated Naval Aviator in Dec. 1956. Navy flight instructor until 1958. Navy reserve - returned to active duty in Dec 1961, flew Super Constellations out of Argentia, NFLD until 1963, flew helicopters for HU-4 from Lakehurst, NJ, Norfolk, VA, Naples, Italy aboard the USS Altair and the Dominican Republic aboard the USS Neosho. Returned to inactive duty in June 1966. Naval Reserve until 1973. Mississippi National Guard until 1977. Retired at age 60 in 1994.

Joe Tom (Thomas) REEVES and Nancy Sue [ccf] FREENY were married on 25 Dec 1956 in Freeny, Leake, MS. Nancy Sue [ccf] FREENY (daughter of Cleveland Clement FREENY and Leola Lovelace PARKES) was born on 24 Mar 1937 in Freeny, Leake, MS. Nancy Sue Freeny graduated from Freeny High School and married Joe T. Reeves in 1956. She worked as a Gray Lady in Argentia, Newfoundland where they were stationed with the US Navy. She, later, was a secretary bookkeeper at Leake Academy for many years. Joe Tom (Thomas) REEVES and Nancy Sue [ccf] FREENY had the following children:
