Hello,
      I had to go to Tallil this week and didn't know it but on the post is the Ziggurat of Ur.   Locals say that Abraham's house is one of the ruins as well.  Here are a few of the picutres I took (See Below) and a couple of websites that give a little more information on this site.       I must say it was an awesome feeling knowing that I have seen one of the many historical sites in Iraq that not many Americans will ever see in person. I know Archeologist must be chomping at the bit for this country to become stable. I have no doubt tourism could be a major income producer if this country could ever become stable.    Danny
