Thursday, April 19:
Joe & Nancy Sue Reeves "On the Road"
We're all set to get the transmission fixed next week.  Joe bought a 3 year Continued Service Plan 2 1/2 years ago and had forgotten it.  Harry Caldwell who travels with us sometimes, reminded him by e-mail this AM.  We could've kissed him!!  Joe checked and it's still good for another 5 months.  Paying a $200 deductible sure sounds better than the whole $2300 estimated by the transmission shop.  We have a 7:30AM appointment for next Tuesday to get started.  It'll take 3 or 4 days but they said we can live in the M/H on their lot while they're working on it.  Things are looking up!!  We had a storm system come through this afternoon with lots of black clouds and high winds but no rain.  The temp was nice, in the 70s, but too windy to be outside.
Friday, April 20:
We sat out a little while this AM before the winds got too strong, then moved inside.  Joe went to the office today and extended our stay until Tuesday morning when we'll move to the transmission shop.  He then went to the commissary for a few supplies.  There are a couple of bunnies who hang out in the campground and Smokey, the cat, has enjoyed watching them.
Saturday, April 21:
The temperature was nice but the winds were too high to sit outside.  Sue did some cooking and we stayed in and read all day.
Sunday, April 22:
Sue washed this morning and Joe sent e-mail.  This afternoon we met
Celia Roy, daughter of old Navy friend Ed Roy, for an early dinner.  The wind is still blowing but the front has passed and the temp was 37 this morning.
Monday, April 23:
Today we slept late, then went out to check in with AAMCO transmission, to a Wal-Mart and a grocery store.  We got back to the M/H and started getting things ready to move to the transmission shop in the morning.
